Re: Midweek Event Unleashed - feedback thread
Yeah, this is 100% spend to make it through.
The event picture with Quark counting his latinum is very apt.

Re: Midweek Event Unleashed - feedback thread
Another issue with both this and previous objective events is they encourage tanking/delayed play just for the event.
I never bothered to tank shuttles, then objective events showed up and suddenly it became much easier to finish them with tanked shuttles, so I tanked a couple factions.
I always used to immortalize crew as soon as I got the last star. Now I wait to fuse, or keep crew sitting at level 99 for weeks just so I have a crew to immortalize on Tue-Wed.
The minute I saw this objective I removed all my crew and switched to a weaker ship in arena. Hopefully I drop levels so it'll be easier to win battles during the event.
The event should be encouraging me to play arena and think about crew combinations to win battles, instead I'm intentionally tanking arena and tanking shuttles so I can do better in the event.

Re: Midweek Event Unleashed - feedback thread
I get these 5 pip achievements are "geared towards more experienced players, engaged in performing well in competitive events." but this one is poorly designed imo. 100% arena wins and a large amount of gauntlet wins in such a short time are often uncommon even for veteran players and can be heavily influenced by the RNG of crits, not something particularly reliant on skill.
The juicier rewards (pack, cite) being locked behind all the other objectives with zero wiggle room (without paying) is either a thinly veiled pay-to-win mechanic or close enough to it that a lot of players will assume it is.
If you design zero margin for error objectives, make them something reliant on skill or planning like away missions, ship battles, spend chrons, etc. Having zero room for error RNG objectives locking the "good" rewards is poor design imo.

Next Forced Update....
The next forced Update is scheduled for the day before the revamped Campaign system.
I can't help but be a little worried {considering the forced Update we just had had issues} that maybe more than a day between would be a good idea to avoid complications if the Update has issues again. Just an observation.
No offense is intended, meant, implied, construed, or contained in Red or Blue Pills. Do not use infernally. Never call with a Deuce-Seven Off-Suit. Objects in mirror may be behind you. I want you, I need you, but there ain't no way I'm ever gonna love you. The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands. I'm in love with Stacy's mom. So now I come to you with open arms. Sunday is on the way. The dead know only one thing: it is better to be alive. Your men love you. If I knew nothing else about you, that would be enough. This Ming is a psycho! Maximum effort! Nothing in this disclaimer or the comment it is part of construes, implies, or in any way can serve as legal advice.

Re: Midweek Event Unleashed - feedback thread
Will this event be the standard 2 days? Winning 20 admiral battles in 2 days means going a perfect 20/20 or spending DIL on extra tokens. I love the new rewards and that they're different from before, but requiring perfect play or DIL is too much. The objectives should be hard but achievable, not impossible without DIL.

Re: Kal'Hyah Worf
Kal'hyah Worf is available in my Dabo today. I didn't think honor hall crew were ever available anywhere except the honor hall. Just an interesting observation.

Ship Schematic Conversion
A lot of us have extra ship schematics for some ships, while not fully leveling other ships. I'd like to see a mechanism introduced to convert schematics for one ship into those for another.
It could be limited to ships in the portal, so that it doesn't take away the incentive to buy packs when new ships are released. And it could be set at a high ratio, so you can't just immediately complete all ships. Or maybe the ratio varies based on how long the ship has been in the portal, with older ships being worth less.
It would just be nice to have something to do with the extra schematics that's related to building ships, rather than producing replicator rations.

Double pull on Teurik has once again given me all available characters currently albeit for a day after getting Princess Tonia Barrows during the Dabo sale
Re: 25th Century Q
I'm all for new. A game doesn't survive without it, but nothing frustrates like old problems. I love some of the new features.
* I retrieve regularly and strategically. (Five days to go and I think I'll pull an EMA to bolster Med a bit and then go back to finish Pollard.)
* I use the Mini OE as part of my crew building regimen. It basically rewards me for things I'm doing anyway. I play the game not the other way around. (Next week, Q's last fuse from the EOE will be my immortal.)
* I buy polestars from the Marketplace as I need them. I make a shopping list as I decide my Retrieval strategy and watch for bargains.
I also have a few ideas for new things or additions to existing things, but it needs a solid foundation.
*Rescue mission option on Voyages. If a ship runs out of AM, your fleetmates have a window of time where they can launch a Voyage of their own as a rescue. Your ship would then recall with no gain or loss to you and the rescuer would get some special rewards- crew, schematics, polestars, a Voyage token, something good.
*New modules for the Starbase.
*Shuttlebay for more shuttles.
*Personnel Office to reduce Retrieval costs.
*R&D Facilities for AM and ship battle stats. Cap at 3 each.
*When you dismiss a crew, after he disappears from your reenlistment area, your fleet should get a period to pay the honor and grab him themselves. This would be a major boon to new players.
QOL- If you have a Supply Kit going, can we get the bonus items UNDER the regular one so you don't have to scroll to see if you got what you were after?
