    I'm a little sad that they retconned the "Data (as B4) becoming the eventual captain of the Enterprise-E" plot from the Countdown comics. Also still iffy on the entire premise of "synths" and the secret daughter stuff.

    It was a much better premiere, that's for sure. But as someone who enjoys Discovery, I would need to see a bit more than 43 minutes before deciding for sure lol. Picard is definitely going in a different direction - Disco has focused more on the action parts of Trek, where Picard by all accounts is going for the more cerebral parts of the franchise. I sure would love a show that hones in on the exploration aspect, and I'm vaguely hopeful Disco season 3 finds that niche.

    I'm unaware of any evidence that Jeri Ryan has had plastic surgery.
