Dilemma reward change?

I just received only honor and chrons from The Cost of Living. I didn't pay attention how much in total though. Definitely no purple (I had two purples before, and two purples after the dilemma), and no gold rations.

So it‘s a nerf, instead of a SR behold which grants 200 honor for dismissal,
we get 150 honor only? Just asking. Not that it matters much.

If it was instead of rations it would be good.
It also means reduced chances of getting and additional star I need, one of the few super-rares I don't have, or adding stars to my Binars.
Chances for any useful purple for me are now at about 7.4%. That means I'm missing out on one useful purple for every 13 times I'm getting honor directly. By the time, I've received honor for the 13th time, chances will have further decreased, maybe to 5% or 3%... It probably looks similar for any seasoned player. With those figures, there's really no reason for complaints. The additional chances for useful purples we got through voyage beholds are much greater than the chances for purples that we "lost" (i.e. never gained) by replacing rations with honor - for seasoned and new players alike.
@STT Community I guess you're not going to respond to this either, since you never did respond to that feedback no matter how often you were prompted?
Exactly. It's better than before, but better is not the same as good.
At one time the ration was just given on the first visit after an upgrade. Now it seems they have put in the reward table.
Edit: This is a level 3 dilemma. They never put this on the level 2 or 1 dilemma. If implemented on those the ration still would have been the loser, but not as big a deal. Now if they did it , it would be the winner because of it now being 150 honor.
Greetings Captain, as others have mentioned a scout from previous months suggested that Honor would be a good Dilemma reward. But we can contact the team in order to offer a possible suggestion for a SR Behold. Thoughts? LLAP
How much honor? Does it still get chronitons? Is it still a 5% chance, or was that changed. The one report indicated that you are giving 150 honor only for what would normally be a 4* (generally 200 honor) and chronitons. This is a vast improvement from rations. We all appreciate that. Thank you. And we know that someone there really wants to have filler instead of crew. But if it is really just 150 honor, it still falls far far short of what it replaces. Please clarify. And if it is just a tiny amount of honor, please pass on that the reward is insufficient, though better than before.
So not quite as good as what you'd get from dismissing a SR, and obviously no chance (however small) of getting a useful star, but quite a bit better than rations IMO.
Please, please, please go back to that thread where we suggested that. You'll see numerous follow-up comments regarding how the original question was badly worded, how honor was the best reward from the selected options but still not a good option. You'll also see questions that we asked you directly, that you never bothered to answer.
Don't ignore our feedback, then attempt to cite that same feedback as a justification for your continued mistakes.
Honestly, bringing up that thread at this point is just unmitigated gall.
Please confirm how much honor. Please confirm if the other rewards are still there. Please confirm if the odds have changed.
For the record, I am underwhelmed that the new reward is still worse than the reward it is inexplicably replacing. I have no idea why they insist on filler rather than crew. It is mind boggling.
Also for the record, I appreciate that there is some change, even if it is uninspiring and uninspired. I appreciate that it is a vast improvement over the useless replicator rations.
Therefore, as I promised, I have ended my boycott of purchases and bought a monthly pass. I would consider more, but there are still unanswered questions.
Unfortunately, this has been a recurring theme lately. And as you very aptly said, it does not inspire trust.
I too have been boycotting purchases. I used to spend quite a fair bit. More than I'd like to admit to be honest, although I'm sure far less than a lot of the whales.
I'm not yet at a point where that will change any time soon. The trust is simply not there.

How can we help you? We can't answer quick questions such as "How much honor" or specific amounts of rewards since that decision comes from our Product Team. All our notes are always welcome for game changes. Let us know in here which questions you want answer for and we will try our best. LLAP
But the questions being asked are about a change that has already been made and implemented, without any communication to players about the specific details. We're just seeking clarity on something that is already in the game.
Ok. Let me try to be clear. There are certain dilemmas on voyages that normally drop 100 honor, 75 chronitons, and a 4* crew. They have a small chance of that being a 4* behold now or the 5* voyage exclusive.
Sometimes that dilemma would drop replicator rations which are much worse than the standard 100 honor/75 chrons/4* crew.
The initial request was to stop dropping the rations and always do the 100 honor/75 chrons/4* crew.

Everyone responded, that depends how much honor. The original dilemma is worth 100 honor + 200 honor(from airlocking the 4*) with the chance of getting a new 4* or the 5*. We can't answer if we would like honor without you telling us if it's 100 honor, or 1000 honor. 1000 honor is a good reward. 100 honor is still less than the normal dilemma.
The game now made a change. People are asking, what is the change. How much honor exactly is in the reward. Is there still the chance of the 4 or 5* behold? That is not a decision that hasn't been made and you don't know the answer. That is a decision that has been made and is currently implemented in the code. What people are asking you to do is go to the Product Team and ask them, "what is the new reward" and then report back with that answer.
And the fact that you are acting shocked at people asking these questions, when they have been asked repeatedly on the old thread does not inspire confidence that you read the old thread and forwarded that feedback to the team.
Let me give you a real world example. You have a bottle of soda, you ask people, would you like the soda or money. Everyone responds, that depends, if you're offering $10 we would like the money, but if you're only offering 50 cents then no, that's not good. 3 months later you come and say, "you're now getting money". Everyone says "how much money are you giving". And you respond, I'm surprised to hear this new feedback, I will send it to the team, this is the first we're hearing about it. And everyone says, we told you all of this 3 months ago and you still haven't answered or shown you even understand our question.
What really burns me is that we are being sold this as "improved communities service from a dedicated manager". I wish they would cut out the deception and just admit that "because of economic realities and resulting staffing cut, we can no longer priorities a community manager, so we will drop that as an addition task on some overworked staffer and they will show up occasionally to pretend that we are paying attention".
I understand economic realities. I could relate to that...
Look like everyone else has missed this phrase: "petition to go back to old rewards". I don't think anyone is petitioning to go back to the rations! They just want to make sure the chance of a purple crew/purple behold/gold behold hasn't gone down, because to some people it feels like it has.
Replacing the Trainers with Honour = good thing
Replacing the 4 🌟 Behold/5 🌟 BeGold with less Honour = bad thing
Clarification on which have been "replaced" {a completed action} is what we are asking for.
It would also be nice to get the % for each option in the various dilemmas, or at least to understand if there were any changes made to the % at the same time the rewards themselves were changed.

If the amount of honor that we are now getting is 200 or less, then this is still a lousy substitution. If it's significantly more than 200 honor, then it may be worth giving up a 4* crew for. Without this information, we can only assume that you've gone with the initial (terrible) suggestion of a measly 150 honor, which is why people are angry. Especially given your insistence that this was a change that we requested, which is simply not true.
