Re: Shortcuts and Simplifications
How about a button in FBB/ship battles that lets me insert my four preselected characters. I hate having to search out my team after we fill the combo slots.
Re: Event Discussion: Flight Makes Right [2024/04/25]
It's gotten to the point where we should all expect events to have issues the last 30-60 minutes, especially for galaxy and skirmish events. It's not good and definitely not on the players, but it's such a regular occurrence that waiting until the last minute to make a push for rank does seem like a foolish strategy at this point. Fool us once, shame on the game... fool us twice (or every galaxy/skirmish event), shame on us!
Re: Shortcuts and Simplifications
Making the game easier for people who have to run 1500-2000 ship battles on a skirmish weekend should be just as much of a priority, if not more of a priority, than the odd newbie who shouldn't be using auto-battles and might lose a match or two when he forgets to cancel out of it.
Every click we make adds up, whether that's all the unnecessary clicks which were sort of reduced recently in Continuum battles or any other content where we mindlessly repeat things that could easily be automated.
Tapping 10,000 extra times during a weekend is not considered content.
Making skirmish battles easier does not make skirmish battles easier. People don't understand point inflation. For most players going for rank reward, the limiting factor is time spent. If you make a skirmish quicker/easier, all you'll do is cause people to play even more and raise the chron costs for the skirmish. The amount of time clicking will be the same, it'll just cost more in chrons and result in a higher vp to reach the same reward as you do now.

Re: Do you have Vori Defender Chakotay yet? (10 Weeks)
Checking the recent additions to this thread was amusing and educational because until I saw the most recent screenshot posted in here I had completely forgotten about Simon van Gelder, which should tell you how successful I have been thus far in securing a copy
Having spent some time reflecting on the meta subject of making really good cards and then hiding them behind an RNG wall with extremely poor odds, and then on the fact that we have had ample time and a wave of negative feedback and there has been no change, I am forced to conclude that we as a group underestimated the vision the developers had for this entire concept and when I zoom out a bit more it seems to me that the plan is actually working.
They have set this up to where even the most seasoned players cannot get these cards reliably, and also created (most - Admiral Black excluded) the cards to only be good at 5/5 fusion, and then set the RNG to a point where they technically can drop to keep people trying but not high enough to count on them. This was clearly done intentionally to drive sales not in dilithium for extending voyages, but in 5* citations and DYC offers, the premise being to capitalize on that moment of maximum leverage by dangling the really good card in front of the player after they have tried for months and encouraging them to cite the card up because the player knows the second copy is not coming for months.

Re: Do you have Vori Defender Chakotay yet? (10 Weeks)
It's now April 2024, running long voyages for months, and no Chakotay in sight. Seriously - can you just add him to the Crew Retrieval list already and I'll spend my Quantum to pick him up?
Also, regarding the RNG and the gauntlet - I can't tell you how many times I've gotten to my 3rd or 6th challenge. picked one of my crew that has easy 2X - 3X stats of my opponent, only to be hammered out by 6 critical hits (to 0 from my side) and lose. Yes, mathematically it can happen, but it seems only on the challenges that grant a reward am I on the losing end of things.
And... how about actually making the rewards for long streaks actually worth it? I had a run of 40+ wins (spent some dilithium to keep it going) and was still only getting spices and 20 chrons. And as for that Omlette Dominion dude - nothing yet, either.

Re: Do you have Vori Defender Chakotay yet? (10 Weeks)
It finally happened!
11 months since the voyage exclusive crew launched I finally got my first crew. I went with Black.
This is the problem with the 5* voyage crew. They (understandably) wanted to make them rare. But a rate of 1 in 11 months (same as me) is absurd. It reduces confidence. I'm not paying to lengthen voyages at thus rate. It would take five years just to immortalize 1 crew. Ridiculous.

OMG, please at least change the wording of "unexpected error". We're talking about an event, so everyone expects an error.
Re: Thanks WRG for free legend pack
I like this new pack type. Thank you for the free one.
Re: Thanks WRG for free legend pack
Thanks for the free pack. I too actually added a star to a 5* crew.
Since they asked for feedback about these new packs, I think now would be a great time to adjust pack pricing to reflect the extremely deep pool of crew (especially compared to when the game and packs first launched), as well as the crazy low odds of getting a 5* crew. I think they would sell more of this new pack and old packs if the pricing was more like 500 dil for the old packs and something more like 1000-1200 for this new pack. For veteran players, 1500 dil seems a bit high for a beGold and honor. I know I’d be a lot more inclined to spend on packs, which I haven’t done in years - other than event packs or discounted packs.

Re: Event Discussion: Meant to be Broken [2024/05/02]
Does the event title refer to the game?
