Just wanna say thank you for that devs!!
Re: Quip level on frozen crew
So I think they added it! Super helpful in terms of who to thaw now!!

Quip level on frozen crew
Can we please get an additional piece on frozen crew for the quipment level… I have no idea what crew have max quipment level without thaw them and it is a utter waste of merits to thaw a crew that is max quip when I don’t need to… like I love that y’all added the quip level for thawed crew it’s super helpful when trying to choose what to use… that being said I think it fell short… for instance I currently have no golds with the highest stat for science or engineering that I quip level… at least I think I don’t? I went to go check a few that I have frozen sure enough upon thawing they’re already max level… that does no good for trying to do the quip event thing… and you have to unlock slots… I’ve only got 355 total crew slots and after 5 thawings each one already maxed… it’s a bit waste of merits easily once at 350 per thaw… so unless I start my own personal database which I shouldn’t have to do… they should just show what Q level they are even if frozen… this way I know to thaw something else… sure I’ve got lots purples I could quip but they’re not as useful as golds… and at some point that may be an issue with the purples… so can we please get eye Q level showing even in frozen crew… and something to indicate how many duplicates of a crew we have frozen while we’re at it?? I know I have like maybe 2 gold duplicates but I’ve got way more duplicates of purple and lower whether is because of the mid week events requirement of immortalizing crew and often it’s easier to immort a 1* but also for a while the monthly or the campaign purple would be a dupe… so I’ve got countless dupes and would like to know that number…. These a big QoL updates that are kinda critical… thanks!!
Re: 11.1.1 Client Release Feedback Thread
Voyage time shown at the dashboard is now way ahead of the real time shown on the voyage screen.
Example:
- Dashboard says Voyage is at 9:11h, but Voyage screen shows 8:43h
- Dashboard says Voyage returns in 43s, but Voyage screen shows 2+min
Ads:
way too long, some run for almost 2min
System: iOS/iPadOS

They do if you're trying to compete w/the whales w/o trying to spend like one. I'm trying to help dozens of players in my fleet play the best they can with limited resources and limited time. If you're not happy w/the game, feel free to get out. You're making my efforts a joke. And you're making yourself sound better than the game, which I'm sure is intentional. You've certainly got the "child" part of your name down cold.
You can finish in the top 100 with zero thought, and zero expenditure other than time, just so long as you're prepared to dedicate your weekend to mindlessly hitting buttons. If you're trying to persuade yourself otherwise then you're the one making your efforts a joke. Get over yourself.

Would be much better if the brain could be used to play the actual event...
None of the current event types require any kind of thought to play. The only one that ever did was Expedition events, and that's a large part of why they were so unpopular. So while you and I might place some value on actually using our brains, we seem to be in a distinct minority around here.
Have Hybrid Events now proved to be too biased to one phase over the other?
6m VP in phase 1 v/s 24 VP in phase 2
1:1 is the perfect ratio but we often see 1:2 for Faction/Skirmish, Faction/Galaxy, Voyage/Skirmish, or Voyage/Galaxy
1:4 for this week's Faction/Specialist event is way to one sided.
Either scrap Hybrid Events or more thought needs to be applied after events to adjust VP rates to get to more even ratio.
Someone in 1st after phase 1 playing 48 hours,. should not be caught in phase 2 by Someone playing for 2hours in phase 2.
Week 3 mega is Voyage/Specialist and hopefully most will realise it's pointless going all out in phase 1 only to be engulfed in hours in phase 2

Re: Discussion Thread: Specialist Event Beta Test 2 - [5/20/2025]
Agreed. This event is just a resource sink, and a tedious one at that. Unless you're really prepared to throw your resources away to rank higher, there's absolutely no reason to put the effort in. Threshold and done for me, every single time. But at least it won't take long.
This beta is better than the first attempt but it's still a complete failure all round. But still better than voyage events.

Re: Discussion Thread: Specialist Event Beta Test 2 - [5/20/2025]
Nice job fixing all the problems with this event...except for, you know, the fundamental ones that make playing the event unfun.
Bad event type continues to be bad. If you want missions to be timed, the timers have to expire together, not at random times all over the day. Babysitting **tsk tsk**. On the other hand, if it's supposed to be played as a resource sink to avoid the stupid timers, it's incredibly tedious and uninteresting.
It's still the second-worst event type and needs to go all the way back to the drawing board.

Re: Discussion Thread: Specialist Event Beta Test 2 - [5/20/2025]
This is still a boring event. I was able to clear thresholds in about 2 hours, spending about 2,000 chrons. I see no reason to ever push for rank in this event type though, since it's a pure resource waster beyond thresholds. At least skirmish (item farming & honor), galaxy (item farming), and faction (faction item farming) events return useful stuff for your time and investment... this is just chrons down the drain.
