I see what you've done. You made a creepy de-aged James Cromwell, instead of using the image of the actual actor who originated the role of Zefram Cochrane on TOS. Please redo this to use the image of Glenn Corbett - the man deserves to be remembered.
In all other cases when you have used characters from TOS you have used the correct images. For example, when using Pike from The Cage, you used Jeffrey Hunter, and when using Pike from SNW, you used Anson Mount. Those were great decisions, respectful to both actors.
Please do the same for Glenn Corbett's Zefram Cochrane. James Cromwell did NOT play Cochrane on TOS!

While waiting for the official update, this is actually an easy fix because the info is there, just not on the Crew tab yet.
On the Crew tab...
1. Right click on row 261 (the actual # 261) and select Insert 1 row below
2. Right click on row 261 again and select Copy
3. RIght click on the new, empty row 262 and select Paste
4. Wait (this can take a while), and Captain D'Chok and his stats should appear

The point you are making about using another ship is valid, though.
It didnt pay out enough schematics? I have to admitt that i didnt look at them so not sure how the schematic rewards was in this event
Yeah, usually we end up with the new Ship stuck at 1 ⭐ until it goes into the Portal to be in Packs. Unless you get lucky with Event Ship Packs. As you said, it still works to just use another Ship for the Event. I usually just do the Arty with the existing 4 ⭐ Crew and three Sledgehammers.
I think it may be because it isnt a new legendary ship
