I run out building Equipment and Retrieving Crew.
Re: Discussion about Skirmish Event Notes: Medical Emergency - 04/17/2025
Before I posted my comment, I was looking at my crew and said to myself: "The last Med primary wasn't Warship Torres? We've had to have another one since, right?" I guess that's a big NOPE and here we are. Orpheus T'Pol, Sickbay Phlox, Ibudan, Sandrine, Birthday Cake Reed, Dress Uniform McCoy, Mark and Mollie, all of these could have arguably had Med as their primary skill. Even if just a third of them had been Med, my complaint wouldn't have much to stand on. As with the constant Fed shuttle OEs, I'm tired of the conveyor belt of DIP/COM clones.
I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel with Med cards to level in Continuum Missions. I'm currently working on Kal'Hyah Sisko, that's how desperate I am. My situation with Eng is even worse, given how many Eng nodes there are. Can something that we can call balance be pursued with the skills?

Re: DISCUSSION: NEW Specialist event - Video Walkthrough with the Devs
A 2nd mission type that I hate to go with voyages. I don't like the timer missions as this game is not my life. unfortunately as more of these get added I fear its going to drive me away from the game more then anything. I prefer to be able to sit down and play when I want, not feeling like I NEED to sit and play at specific times to be competitive.

The survey has been revised to now include voyage events in the question ranking event types.
If you took the initial survey, you may want to do it again.

Re: DISCUSSION: NEW Specialist event - Video Walkthrough with the Devs
I think this would be a great addition to the rotation of midweek events for something new. As a replacement to a galaxy event, it leaves a lot to be desired and enjoyed.

If the desired result is to see more player engagement, make the game fun to play rather than tedious. These tappy tappy events are more work than fun. I get that plenty at my job.
The main reason there is any engagement now is due to the Star Trek theme.

For the record, I was very wrong about this! I pulled some credit packs to get some level 1 1*s and they would take longer to complete the mission than is available in a four day event (let alone a two day beta or indeed event phase).
I can't upload my screenshots (the upgraded forum doesn't seem to like my mobile) but the longest times I got were 135h01m for Lt. Jadzia Dax on both Clouded Vision and Geometric Perfection, followed by 130h39m for Ensign Ogawa on Brittle Crystal and 122h04m for Will Riker on Gateways of Discovery.
We're trying to squeeze 5 Bajoran days into 4 Earth ones here.
Re: Gorgan OE starts tonight. Quick random question.
Another OE event which is Federation Shuttles, Enterprise 1701, level a TOS crew.
Can we mix these OE events up a bit, change the ship and Faction for shuttles.

Re: DISCUSSION: NEW Specialist event - Video Walkthrough with the Devs
Well to put this succinctly: This **tsk tsk**. It's a bald faced chron grab with not even the benefit of farmed items. The timers are too short which I assume is by design {one hour-ish isn't long enough to walk away for much of anything) forcing the use of chrons. And the chron costs, while they are relatively low, over the course of a four day event, are quite like being nibbled to death by ducks.
There's no strategy. This will be by far the most Pay-to-Win event sytle we will have.
Come guys. You can do better than this.

Re: DISCUSSION: NEW Specialist event - Video Walkthrough with the Devs
The percentage chance of "bonus mission progression" changes by how many traits are filled. But what isn't very clear is what causes there to be a percentage in the first place; I think, though don't know how to confirm, it's if someone has the Federation trait or are the other event crew.
The percentages don't even make sense. I've run ones where the character had a 0% chance of bonus mission progression and the character still moves it by 15%, so I don't even know what's going on with this.
