Spock Stuck in My Bridge Crew

So I have a bit of a weird issue. I've been purging my 1* crew but When I tried top airlock Spock it gave me the "Crew is assigned to your battle station " message. I haven't had him assigned for about a month but to be safe I removed all bridge crew, making sure that there was no crew assigned to other stations on other ships and still the same message.
