Iphone battery drains like crazy and how to disable STT background refresh?

is it just me or others having this problem with battery.. i have 70% and in half hour it shows 20% even though I don’t use it and only STT is opened.

also how to disallow STT background refresh as it doesn’t show up there

    It wears my iPhone battery down if I play, but not when it’s just open

    By opened , i meant i opened app, turned off the screen, and don’t use it

    The best recommendation is to NOT leave the app running in the background if you are not playing.
    There is no option to disable the background refresh, it is there for a reason.

    Yes, by open I mean the same thing. I’m still on an iPhone 6 though. Perhaps there’s a difference.
