This is incredibly pedantic. You were warned!

So, okay, here goes. Lwaxana Troi has been kidnapped. Her daughter is worried about her. Half the quadrant is looking for her. She's a very valuable prize for the Terrans. Got it.

But... aren't there like a million copies of this woman in the galaxy by now?

Remember that whole "multiple realities and timelines, plucking people out of random points in their life, putting them all together, so you can have things like Dixon Hill standing next to Robin Hood Picard and Mirror Picard?" Isn't the entire conceit of this game that there are numerous and growing copies of "versions" of characters?

So.... it must be that festive outfit that makes her so valuable?

On a lighter note, my favorite part of Rick and Morty is that Rick can literally wipe out thousands of other Ricks, and there will still be an infinite number of them left.

Actually I should correct myself... an infinite number of Ricks are wiping out an infinite number of "sets of thousands" of other Ricks.

Lwaxana is being sent on missions to Find herself (not in a spiritual sense) - that was paradoxical enough for me

I was kinda of thinking the 'info' contained in the mission descriptions were very vague, leading to my speculation the whole story line is one of those big misunderstandings because Lxwana Troi is simply at home on Betazed and nobody bothered to check the south gazebo.

Please, the Holy South Gazebo of the Seven Sacred Gazebos of Betazed, thank you very much.

So, has the “prime” timeline (i.e. the timeline featured in Star Trek canon) been interrupted by these people all disappearing ? Since the temporal crisis in this game began, have certain key events, (such as the Enterprise crew defeating the Borg at Wolf 359) not happened due to characters being taken through the temporal anomaly ? Often in sci-fi, including Star Trek, when a character is taken out of time, events unfold differently than in the main timeline where the person stayed put.

In STT, the idea is that the same character can be taken from his timeline at one point, and other copies of the same person can be taken from other moments of the same timeline. But if a person was taken from one moment in time, wouldn’t he be absent from any future moments in that same timeline ? Or is it just a copy, with the original still continuing on the same course as always?

I know the intro to the game refers to different versions of the same character existing in the Timelines universe. Were they taken from different points along the same timeline, or once each from an infinite amount of timelines, hence the name of the game ?

Just try to explain the existence of characters that have been totally imagined/dreamed by other characters, like Prisoner O'Brien or Admiral Picard, just sitting next to physical beings in a shuttle during a Faction mission 🤣

    "Uhm... Hi"
    "Hi"
"Just... Weren't you part of that nightmare I had that time after I ate Riker's omelette?"
    "What if I am?"

Hey, Riker learned how to be a master chef during his time on the NX-01! Those ingredients are perfectly legal on Risa! ;)

My head hurts. I suppose Minuet will be in the game eventually, too. You raise a great point.

That was YOUR nightmare, not mine, read your Multiverse Guide and get your head in the game on this mission! Flemming needs that Ancient Film!

(That would be my reply if I was the figment of their imagination)

I miss that gunshow Picard login screen. Hope we get a good one for this next event.

My only concern about her 'festive self' is why she exists at all? All those low stats+bad proficiency numbers...
Is she a good Arena crew? I'm not a specialist on that but she looks very bad for a 2 skill crew.

Kind of a funny follow-up, Lwaxana was kickin' it with Mirror Emperor Spock the whole time. Which is extra funny, since Emperor Georgiou was part of our event. As well as Empress Sato, mentioned in missions. You know how those Terran Emperors love sharing power!

I think another Mirror Mega should be on the horizon... a mega mega Civil war.

No, she's nothing special for the Arena, either.

Not always - there was that super weird episode where Lwaxana was in some sort of coma and Deanna went into her mind to find out she had a sister that died as a kid, or something?

Yup: Kestra drowned and Lwaxana repressed the memory so hard it nearly killed her. A little woo-tastic even for Star Trek but not bad...being able to see a different side of Lwaxana is refreshing.
