Through fortunate timing, last Sept-October I took a 64-day road trip around the circumference of the U.S., with a few stops in Canada, visiting old friends and places, so I have the feeling of travel still lingering in this time of isolation.
A few highlights from the Northern leg:
Pennsylvania - Falling Water
D.C. - Smithsonian
Chicago - Fields Museum
Wisconsin - House on the Rock
South Dakota - Mount Rushmore?
Not yet...
Actual
Wyoming - Devil's Tower
Wyoming/Montana - Yellowstone National Park
Montana - Golden Spike
Idaho - Wallace and Coeur D'Alene
Washington - Foggy Day on Mt. Rainier
Vancouver, B.C.
At the end of my trip, popped up to Toronto via Niagara....
And, of course, Ticonderoga, NY, to the amazing Star Trek Original Set Tour
Western, Southern and Eastern legs later. Hope everyone is staying safe!
But one for my four children graduated from The University of Central Florida (UCF) with her Bachelor's degree in Biology last night (12.17.2021).
And with the "wish you were here" theme, I hope you all get to experience these special times and warm fuzzies in your lives as well (Happy Holidays / LLAP).

Stopped in Roswell. I found it particularly amusing that the alien outside this one place was Thor from Stargate painted green. I mentioned that inside and they didn't even know it was from Stargate.

Tarpon Springs is a city on central Florida’s Gulf Coast. Greek eateries line waterfront Dodecanese Boulevard, a legacy of the Greek sponge divers who settled here in the early 1900s. Along the water, the Historic Sponge Docks are a reminder of the once booming industry. The 1940s St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church has stained glass and a Grecian marble altar. Tarpon Springs Aquarium displays Gulf marine life.
