Just out of curiosity what ball park figure do people consider credits are in excess I’m currently sitting at a modest 2 million mark but my list of levelling crew is slowing down at least ones that I feel are a priority
I had 1.1 billion, I'm now sitting at 2 million. I obtained 3 million through skirmish and another 4 million from the 3 supply kits I sank over the weekend getting intel. I've never spent so many credits at once, probably wont again. I generally don't go under 5 million credits, then I know I'm covered.

I used to want to keep above 3 million because I was continually levelling crew (only 4* and 5*s) and building all those items costs a lot ... I had already set myself a "no more than 2x replicator a day" use.
However, I recently (2 weeks ago more or less) kinda ran out of crew to level ... voyages have brought that total from 0 to 3, but I only work one crew up 10 levels a day so I can meet daily achievements for the foreseeable future.
What happened is that I now have over 10 million credits (and over 3500 chronitons (even after Galaxy pre-farming)) ... I just don't know what to do with them.
I have only replicated one item recently and that was to reduce my inventory down by 50 crew-specific items that had built up over time for crew I've already levelled. Haven't needed to replicate anything because I can build everything the moment it comes up.
So, over the span of 2 events (one a skirmish) I've built up over 6 million credits while levelling Dancing Chekov, and event crew (Donatra, Chaplain Odo, Antaak) and have a continual surplus of chronitons.
Anyway, long story short ... 3 million is more than enough if you've got a good selection of crew you want to level (e.g. 20) and don't go nuts replicating stuff.
It also means you don't have to run the last mission on Saturdays but can run those missions for difficult items (med stuff etc.).
You know ... I never thought I'd get to this point, especially because I do not spend money on this game and am a fairly casual player.

When I was new, I laughed at people who said they were always out of credits. Then I discovered how quickly they disappear when leveling high crew and replicating high value items. I now try to keep above 2 million. I also try to stay above 17K merits.
i think i've gotten 2 golds - possibly 3 from green packs since day 1.
have 73 million credits. and like 300 green packs sitting.
Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, is all ancient history. Then, before you can blink an eye, suddenly, it threatens to start all over again."
Besides buying boosts, I sometimes spend my eight daily replications doing purple science experiments, encoded communiques, identification codes, toolboxes etc.
Triggered by this thread, I decided to open my 54 free 10x packs. In the 7th pack, I got a begold between Satan's Robot, Suus Mahna Sarek and L'Rell. Should have chosen 2nd star on Sarek, but went with Satan's Robot because I like this card.
Now I've got 33 million credits still to burn
Most anticipated character not in the game: Mr. Homn

Wish I was as prudent in real life 😂
