We use the DISCORD app for all our fleet chats (it's free). We're much better organized than many other top-tier fleets in the game, while a heck of a lot more relaxed and much more fun to be a part of. I have numerous other former fleet Admirals who joined me, and we have a world of knowledge and experience to share with you. Sure, we all love the game, and we enjoy playing it often; but we're also a fun family of kooky friends from around the world, who enjoy playing the game together. On top of playing, we also hang out often and share plenty of good laughs, an excellent supportive environment and one another's company.
It's OK if you don't play every day. You don’t have to be a daily player, but the more you play the more fun you’ll have with us. So long as you let me know ahead of time whenever you know you're going to be offline from the game for five days or more, I won't kick you for inactivity. You can send me that message on DISCORD at any time you need to; it takes only a moment. That rule helps keep our fleet as active as possible.
All Captains MUST have a name other than just “Captain” so that others may recognize you. We have no drama, but instead are a close-knit group of good people who treat each other as if we’re both friends & family.
WE’RE ALMOST ALL VERY HIGHLY ACTIVE, and help is never far whenever you might need it, at any stage of the game, nearly 24/7. Whatever your skill level, we can help you.

Chat function desperately needs major attention. Third party source or not, our chat **tsk tsk**. Improve it enough to provide reliable communication, especially among fleet members & more. Add a chat room to reach fleet for squadron leaders with their Admiral, to allow for passing of information. Don't let our messages disappear so easily, so three recipients of them can see the messages.
Better pricing of in game purchases is most assuredly wanted by all. Let the price of everything and you'll have higher repeat sales plus a higher amount of smaller purchased. Don't make items in this game cost more than buying entire games elsewhere, such as on Xbox or Playstation.
There's a ton of other great ideas. How about listen to us, your players and customers, more in game development issues?

PS - Kudos DB, for the new 3D rendered artwork! I could stare at it for hours!
This has been discussed a lot on the forum.
The consensus seems to be on the side of this breaking the game, since peeps would open dupe accounts to farm characters.
Back to the OP, my top 5:
1) (at least) Three week event calendar with full details
2) Unique icons for every generic piece of equipment (looking at Type 1 Phaser in particular)
3) Better Event Reward structure
4) Better (some!?) QA
5) More in game content (missions/distress calls)
I would love to be able to trade crew with other members of my fleet, yet I do see the point that DB should rightly be worried about that opening the door to dishonesty by players. If it could be done in such a way as to NOT be a doorway to the bad elements, I'd be all for it

Right now I don't see a point in trying to climb the ladder so my incentive to play events is rather limited.
Think about it.... two part events. We burn thru chrons or shuttles or whatever to get all the community rewards the first half. After that, without halfway decent rewards for trying to go up higher, what's the fun in that for everyone? Does that not highlight opportunity to increase player participation and potential profit increases, enough for you guys? Or do you even care when you notice that for the second part you have such lower numbers of participation than you usually do for the first parts of events? Anyone who watches the game enough can clearly see that events are major money makers for you. Make the rewards better, and make it more enticing for all, from the beginning thru the very end, and there's a way to increase your company dollar. Can't you see this??
I'd vote strongly for you, DB, taking a long hard look at the reward structure for events and revamping it to make it more enticing to everyone. Competition is fierce in many of them, so bunp more of the coveted crew down a few notches as far as the rankings needed to obtain them, so that players who burn thru tons of resources have more to show for it than so-so stuff they walk away with. Imagine how frustrating it can be when you work your tail off to get high enough in the rankings to get a few stars added to a crew member you'd like to immortalize, only to find out later that while you were off game or otherwise occupied, you dropped like a rock in the last little while of the event and walked away without even a single star to show for it..... that **tsk tsk**!! The squadron rewards should have crew and other bonuses such as honor points awarded, too.

Why not let us officer/admiral or all memb for thats sake, have overview on WHO have donated to starbase. Atm we can only see as daily target (max donation 35p), but if memb is doing everything else then donation, we wont have a clue if its daily mission or donation or both
Also: BETTER overview on starbase recommandation. I know many have mention this over and over again for long time. Get some kinda highlight like we have during faction event.
