Will crew immortalization achievement awards be retroactive?
They were when they were initially released. Odds are this either:
1) Was released unintentionally and isn't actually ready (see: no mention in the announcement earlier) (Edit: Correction, they did mention it)
2) Will be cleared up at the daily reset
I wouldn't worry about it too much (yet).1

It’s in the in game email so seems intentional, I guess we will know at reset but a little worried since my count went up from immortalizing people today
I stand corrected. Missed that line when I read it earlier.
I still think the daily reset later on is probably the answer and nobody should panic yet.
Off the top of my head, any time before when DB make changes to achievements, you need to wait for the reset for it to work. The exception is if you haven’t logged in all day until after the change was made, but most people probably have.
DB do normally mention this in the communications (thanks for the 2 nearly identical ingame messages btw! I’m well aware it’s now the 10th of Aprember!), I just think it’s more likely they ‘forgot’ to tell people this is how it works with achievements.
Never say never though, I could be disappointed.
