Increase of available crew slots

I am just wondering when you are planning on increasing the number of available crew slots again?

We are seeing new crew every week but aren't seeing a corresponding increase in the available crew slots. For some of us, that means that we have to dump someone into cryostasis on a weekly basis just to make space for the new ones.

It really does get to a point where it just isn't worth it.

It is a difficult balancing act; especially if F2P. My second account airlocks pretty much every 1/2 star who does't fit the trifecta of female/alien/starfleet and nearly every three star that doesn't hit a gap or the weekend Cadet.

I believe the current precedent would.be that one will come around Christmas time. I'm saving for that.

455 available slots aren't enough? Or is it not available slots you want increased, but the number of free base slots you want increased (currently 75)?

For me, there are slots enough available. I am just unwilling to pay 3000 dilithium for 5. I'll save for half price, thank you.

Just event slots will do. Crew can be dismissed instantly back to cryo on event close.

I love to collect as many characters as possible and upgrade them but there are not enough free slots, I have 135 slots and every time I got new characters I must dismissed them or some other that I like a few less. It is a pity because there are so many good characters and I'm unwilling to pay dillithium first cause I don't have enough of it and second cause It is far too expensive, like 50 euros to just five slots...
Maybe you can find a solution so we can earn crew slots on some other way?

Some of the best people here are free to play and VIP0. They can give you the best help for how to choose crew. I started getting the monthly card to save dilithium. It comes 100 per day and at first I was using it, but if you save carefully, that amounts to 5 crew spots per month. Or save longer and a half price crew slot sale will come and you can get double slots. Personally, I have saved 6,000 dilithium for the next crew slot sale.

Of course, your main point is still valid and I would love it. I would love a trade of 1 million credits or 5000 merits for 100 dilithium. (I would like less, actually, but I feel those values keep in line with current value.)
