Would love to see Kirk/Spock/McCoy in disguise, but those swastikas would have to go. Not sure what the legalities would be in Germany with regard to the rest of the uniforms, so it might be a non-starter anyway.

I don't recall the redux versions of TOS having such emblems removed, as long as it's contextual I don't see there is a problem it's not like they are creating a non canon character/variant and using it to propagate an idea.

That being said I am sure they can come up with a reverse side on angle that only shows the red band instead if it's that much of an issue.

For instance the Kirk shot above they could easily just have a small white oblong dot at the top of the red band indicating that it's facing more upright than on the side of the arm. Thus intimating it's there but not sporting it.
