Changes to Rewards

Just came back to the game and am curious what the reasoning behind changes the rewards tables in events was. Seems like most people are upset with them and they shouldn't have been changed.

Yes, DB should also adjust rank rewards given more players, but that's a separate issue.
People wanted more in the Thresholds. That added stuff, but kinda got a litte carried away {in my opinion} on the "spread". When there is a second 5* in an Event, for example, they usually sit at 400,000.
If we're referring to putting next week's legendary in this week's rewards table, I still think it's complete and utter ****, and has caused a lot of unnecessary grief.
Not to mention that any event where they screwed up the bonuses (hey, you mean like, once or twice a month?), you've got a larger number of people who are impacted AND they're out the resources that they spent on the previous event.
I respect your opinion, but have to disagree. I like the fact that the Legendary character I get for ranking above 1000 becomes immediately useful in the next event. Previously, it could have taken considerable time to appear in an event and with some one off characters that might be never.
absolutely, it's useful... until they give silva a 3x bonus instead of a 10x bonus and reduce your 48+ hours, 35k chrons, and all that damn effort in a single weekend ranking top 5 to "well, mirror picard now has better stats in this event than your new 3/5 silva does"
and then you contact support, and they give you a form letter, so you request a supervisor, who gives you a form letter, and then you call him out on it, and he insults you by saying it just seems similar to something others have received, yes, similar as in space for space, letter for letter, punctuation for punctuation, also known as copy and pasting.
Yeah, so you try to tell him how much effort you put into obtaining someone who ended up completely useless in their event, and he doesn't even bother to look into it. I honestly don't even know if he knew about the ranked rewards change. He certainly acted like he had no idea.
Then again, I've found it's hit or miss (mostly miss) when it comes to getting CS to actually read your tickets. Even as a VIP 14.
So, would I rather have walked away from that event with a 3/5 Musketeer Picard? Lmao, yes.
whatever, i get a 3/5 to sit there and remind me of the futility of playing this game with maximum effort.
What happened to the Good Ole Days where we didn't have to preface things with "I respect your opinion, but ..." or the like. I suppose that things have moved on. I just miss the olde direct approach. Things like "I disagree because. .." or "No, you're an idiot ..". Ahhhh our new PC World.
Common decency and being PC aren't exactly the same thing.
This.
