"Trait matched event crew" effect rewards?

In the Skirmish rewards screen it specifically says "trait matched event crew" provide the greatest rewards...
Does that mean that even the "featured crew" need to match traits for the "greatest rewards"?


For the Epic level event the skirmish traits and crew traits are as follows


Which means 5/12 matches all 5 skirmishes with traits, Assimilated Troi matches 4/5 and Drone 7 only 2/5
I know that the VP is the same for all 3, but wondered on peoples impression for skirmish 1-4 "rewards" do you get more Chrons/VP/intel/creds/Honor?

Maximum reward for a skirmish battle is 1k vp and 2k for the final battle. as long as you're hitting that, then no need to worry.

I haven’t really paid close attention to the bonus rewards but I am up about 6000 honor compared to my pre-event total. Currently sitting at 323k VP having exclusively used Assimilated Troi alongside my usual Skirmish gang of Killy, Locutus, and Valeris.
