Crew selection animations sluggish

Ever since the 7.0.9 update, any time I click on something to select crew (voyages, shuttles, or for example the current Galaxy event) - the animation for the crew window to slide in from the right is incredibly sluggish. Running a Galaxy S8.

I upgraded my phone about the same time as 7.0.9 came out. I find the scrolling on voyages lagging, or just not working if the app has been open for a long time. Exit and reload fixes this for me.

I'm having the same issue since the update. Also have an S8. Closing and reopening does not help me though.
