Last Day Daily Reward (29th in Feb)

So, I have been playing for two and a half years. Every month, there is one "extra" day's worth of daily reward. For example, Feb. has 29 daily rewards. I sign in and play EVERY day. But, I have never figured out how to get that last "extra" daily reward. Am I missing something? Thanks for any help!! I suspect I am not the only one.
