Faction Shuttle Start Time Question

I seem to recall this is true, but if I start a shuttle during a Faction/Hybrid event before the 12pm EST changeover, I still collect VP on that mission when it completes even if it’s after the change to Phase 2, correct?

    Yes. Personally I am using all the rental shuttle tokens collected since the last hybrid event and sending them all out with treasure boosts.

    Correct.

    But... hmm, I can't remember the unwritten rules about whether or not to discuss the phase 2 shuttle thing. So if we're not supposed to talk about it, then don't click the spoiler tag.
    Open even more shuttles before the phase change. Send them before they time out in phase 2. Collect more points. Mind your crew choices (i.e., don't use the high bonus event crew if you plan to build recipes at the same time).

    If you did click on the tag... apologies that this didn't post until after the phase change. Just keep it in mind for the next hybrid.
