In my gauntlet there's a captain with a captain proton ship avatar instead of a crew avatar. How to do this?

2nd, under my ingame profile under unlockeds there's a item called seasons. What are seasons?

    The avatar is a reward for completing the captain proton collection, not sure about the other one

    Captain Proton avatar is for completing the Captain Proton collection.
    The Niners avatar is for completing the Niners collection.

    Seasons is a new feature, coming soon(tm) that hasn't fully been deployed yet, as the icon is missing and has the badge thingies which is what the missing art icon looks like. Seems like a new gameplay function - Erin Prince also formerly spoke about it.
