Post-Update Bluetooth Interference

Since the update, when opening or switching to the Timelines app, it turns off my bluetooth headset connection and switches it to the internal iPhone speaker. The second I click out of the app, it goes back to my Bose headset.
The app has a long-standing issue of ignoring the mute rocker and interrupting music/podcasting in favor of it's own audio needs. Please correct this.

It looks like this has been an issue since at least 2017 and it has not been addressed. Here are a few forums showing the issue:

After 3 almost identical separate posts I think we get the idea ... one would probably have sufficed. LOL.
To be honest, your sound 'problems' are probably due to your settings for sound/permission protocols on your device. Very doubtful that the game is responsible. Try returning your sound settings or permissions back to the factory defaults ... it will probably work

I have the sound in the game off, and listen to music on my blue tooth. Any time I start this game it The sound stats for the game. go into settings, sound volume for the game is off, have to move the slider to stop hearing the game.
Are you talking about any specific system permissions or are you talking about the timeliness app settings?
The game volume has been repeatedly placed on "0" yet the audio within the app still plays.
Hi and welcome to our forums.
Please avoid digging up old threads and repeating the same thing in different threads, it is not really helpful
I am sorry you are having sound issues. We are aware that this affects some of our players but we still need to identify the cause unfortunately.
It would be good to identify the cause. It is my hope that by posting information and providing information through this forum and the online ticket system that it may be discovered.
@Cuttysark @shan Are you developers? Have you any idea where to start? I will be posting details to my issue once the forum let's me create a new post but I am glad to answer any questions or suggestions you may have.
If anyone can confirm that switching between using Bluetooth audio and not with the volume slider at 0 does or does not play game audio it would be helpful.
