What happened to Genesis?

When I used to go to Genesis, it had this cool animation that the planet goes from calm & serene like in this screenshot, and gradually gets consumed in volcanic activity. Now it just stays like this all the time. Was it an Easter Egg that I didn't realize I activated, or did everyone else ALWAYS see the planet destruction animation before?

    I don't remember Genesis Planet changing like that. Were you thinking of Ceti Alpha VI?

    No it was definitely Genesis. Ceti Alpha VI is also a cool animation, but the Genesis animation took the whole planet from serene lush green Earth-like (as above) to a molten volcanic-ridden rock.

    I don’t know if I had ever even gone to Genesis, let alone remember what the animation looked like. I have now, though, and I see what you see now. What you described sounds awesome though.
