200K Honor - now what?

I'm wanting to keep 100k aside for the next honor hall entry, so with 100k to spare what should I do?
Option 1: Take Kahless from 3/5 to 5/5

Option 2: Add 1 * each to Boothby 1/5 & Hawk 1/5 (my 2 best Voyage Crew)

Option 3: Add stars to my Top 10 shuttle crew (Z.Odo 1/5, Silver 7 2/5, Timicin 1/5, Mirror Stamets 1/5, Future Dax 1/5, D.Troi 4/5, Mirror Crusher 1/5

I'm leaning towards Kahless since he is not in the portal.

Hard to say what if we cannot see your crew and needs but yes it is always better to take a crewmember to 4/5 or 5/5 than to take one from 1/5 to 2/5. Kahless to 5/5 would be good. Not sure you need to hold 100k for the next honor hall person. He/she may not be very good. But how much to hold back is up to you.

We are (theoretically) soon going to have a new honor hall-only crew coming, so it’s worth holding onto 100k honor in case it’s a good one. And if it’s a bad one, you can always buy citations then.

As my colleagues have said, it’s hard to evaluate what would be the best move for you but immortalizing Kahless is probably a good start. Mirror Bev is a very strong MED crew that ends up on voyages for me at 3/5* and I have several immortal doctors to choose from besides her. And Mirror Stamets has a rare skill combo (albeit one between his secondary and tertiary skills, rather than a primary). Not sure exactly which Troi you have, but whichever one it is at 5/5* wouldn’t likely be bad for your situation.

I have Durango Troi at 4/5.
I can hit 8 hours consistently.
My 5/5 are: Guinan, P. Cromwell, AOS Crusher, B. Queen, Kol, Ruafo, Etana, Seven of Nine, Kortar, T'Kuvmah, BR Bashir, Mirror Data, Mirror Picard, Surak, Interface LaForge, Wrathful Khan.
4/5 are: Daystrom, Durango Troi, Wedding Dax, Minuet, and P Cochrane.
3/5 are: AoS Riker, Professor, Kahless, anf Nagus Rom.

I have 14 FE 2/5 and 26 FE 1/5. The strongest of these are mentioned above.

Personally, I'm a fan of spreading the wealth. Kahless +2 would be great of course, but my bias would be to improve 2 crew to give yourself more options. Hawk's got a nice skill combo for voyages.

As for the portal thing... unless you're pulling 10x packs every day, I'm not sure portal-status really means much for the 5* cards. Yes, you can get them from the portal, but at what odds? Just cite 'em up and reap the benefits immediately.

Anyhow, that's my 2 (slightly contrarian) cents. Whatever you choose to do - enjoy!

I wouldn't offer a dissenting opinion... Do NOT cite Kahless. His purpose is gauntlet so 1/5 is just as good as 5/5.

If you have just a couple 5/5 you might consider going after a new legendary you don't have yet via a begold. Assuming space isn't an issue.

Or if you definitely want to cite, pick a character that will end up one of your strongest base skills, particularly in a skill in which you are weaker. Just my two cents

I would prolly just buy 4 citations and get all your 4/5 but Minuet to 5/5. 8 hr voyages is great but with so many high lvl legendaries you can start to push towards 10 hr ones. Cite who will help you in voyages. If a choice between two equally good and helpful ones then go with the one who is main crew on one of the shows and as such more likely in events. You can def keep back 100k honor if you want but remember that while that honor sits there it is not helping you. I waited on citing my Obsidian Order Garak to 5/5 to see who was gonna be in the mega event and it has cost me two times in the last two days where I could have made it to 10 hrs on my voyages if I had had him 5/5. But it is your game and your choice. Do what makes you happy.

While it's true Kahless was introduced as mainly a gauntlet crew, at 5/5 he's also a top 20 voyage crew. So there is that to consider.

I always err on the side of completing collections. I just dumped 100K onto Delta Paris just today. My last two immortals were RAF O'Brien and BoxingTucker. Both are part of two collections.

I'll likely continue with the HoloEnthusiasts. Fusing Data and Nog next. I don't have Kim and I'll save Odo for last since he's the weakest. I might change my mind if I can get another Jury Rigger. At that point I'll probably finish EVArcher.

Generally any 3 skill crew will yield decent returns.

It's a shame I'm too late. I've been saving, but only made it to 150k. It will all go to the new RP Commandant, who will pretty much be Killy's little brother. He has the same ship ability, but less event potential. Yes, I already have Killy, but wish that I had two more. That wish will now come true.

I've passed 200k recently. Tempted to put a couple of stars each on Hawk and FO Burnham - but equally still hoping they do the 18k 5* beholds Honor sale they did just before Christmas for Easter... what about it @Shan ?

I cant seem to hang on to honour long enough to amass a decent amount. I should really start saving up again for the next honour hall character but If I had 200k I would probably buy Bev Picard and two stars for her.

50k and I'm spending unless it's too close to call for the next mega event.
having said that it's been 3 strikes in a row for mega event legendaries it's almost not worth worrying about these days.

Oof, DB just gave us Phoenix Cochrane for First Contact Day. Maybe you should put in a ticket asking for an honor refund, since you just did it yesterday.

Durango Troi was a good choice to FF, and I love my Phoenix Cochrane for voyages (good traits) and even shuttles (2nd best Eng and 3rd best Sci for me). Can't say much about Boothby or Kahless personally.

I would imagine that as they added older gauntlet crew back into gauntlet and some into other portions of the game they may become available elswhere at some point but constantly available in honor hall? You can not count on that.

I don't recall that he was ever actually removed, but that it was initially announced he would be replaced, but then, before the actual due date, they changed their mind and announced he would stay.

That said, was just reading assorted posts about the Mandela Effect, so who knows what tricks memory might play... #PicardsCrystal

I whent back through pages and pages of coms to find the announcement for release of bev picard intending to replace kahless, then others recanting due to complaints and stating add instead of replace. There are a few different announcements saying different intentions from Dec 2017 thru March 2018. Lol

I do not think Kahless was ever removed but that he had been discussed being removed and then DB changed their mind. I am not sure that any new Honor Hall person could be a big draw or worth the 100k. We already have so many great gauntlet people and other legendaries for Voyages.
