Katra McCoy and prisoner trait?

I was thinking today that it's not unreasonable to give Katra McCoy the prisoner trait since he was effectively trapped in his own mind while Spock's katra was inside him.

    Of course the Katra McCoy art if from after Spock's katra was "released" so would being a "prisoner" still apply?

    I would think he was more of a host rather than a prisoner as I am sure he would do it again to save his friend's life.
