Hi everyone.

I'm really enjoying making puzzles the the forum community. I hope you like my latest - it's a codeword based on Voyager's Year of Hell two parter. I'd thought I'd make one that ties in with the current Mega Event somewhat.

How does it work? Well, it's a bit like a crossword. But instead of regular clues to fill in the blanks, instead each letter of the alphabet is assigned a number. Your job is to work out what each letter's number value is and fill in the blanks! I've given you the first letter to get you started. lzk6xey1w1xi.png

Clues can be found by watching those two episodes of Voyager, but I suspect you should be able to solve it without needing to watch!

If you've succeeded correctly, then you'll be able to decipher the below! Good luck!

    Just eyeballing it, I got started by finding
    JANEWAY
    (looking for a way the codes would match right)
    Now I know 6 of 26!

    That was fun. Thanks for the diversion, and I got a kick out of the deciphered surprise. I'd post the result in a spoiler, but I don't know how.

    OK, so this was VERY cruel to spring on someone first thing after waking up, lol

    So clearly mistakes were made drawing out the grid by hand without coffee, but I managed it!

    Nice work on making this! Honestly, I think the troubles I had mostly came from my extremely poorly drawn grid :p
