Math for Criting Nodes?

With the introduction of the new Episode 10, there are new nodes that will need to be crit'ed to get stars. I've seen in past posts the math for figuring out what score you'd need to crit a node, but I can't seem to find those threads now. I know it's some percentage of the base score for passing the node, but don't know it exactly. Can someone who knows the equation provide it?
As an aside: asking for the math equation to accomplish an away mission, how Star Trek is that!

I believe the rule of thumb still is to add 30% to the base score. I found this post in the Do Not Airlock thread:

I zoomed in on the next screenshot such that the 100 point deficit was 4 mm on the ruler I laid over the screen. I measured a total of 14 mm from the minimum clearing threshold to the critical threshold, which is an extra 350 points. 350/1134 = 30.86%.
Shras’ diplomat bonus plus proficiency roll of 104 (which I didn’t quite screenshot on time) weren’t enough to crit, however:
I bet it was close, though, so if we add a little extra padding and call it an extra 400ish instead of 350 that’s a safety factor of 1.35 to ensure success.
