Tuesday Packs are very poor value

Month or so ago I wanted 1 copy of Pah-Waith Keiko. It took 10 portal pulls before I got her. I did get 2 Legendary beholds that had OK Legendary crew them. I had the same super rare 7 times in a row. Which got air locked each time.
Week or so ago I wanted another Legendary crew. Gave up after 5 portal pulls. This week wanted Species 8472 invader and again gave up after 5 portal pulls. Got Riley 4 times in a row. Which again got air locked.
It,s only because I got spare Dilthium at the moment that I doing these portal pulls. I am starting to think there,s an problem with RNG in this game where it keeps giving you the same crew all the time.

The problem is the low drop rate for 5* crew on 650-dil packs - 1.27% for any 5* means an even lower chance for any particular one you are looking for. I did all the math on it a while back and don’t even remember which subforum it was posted in but it worked out like this - if you want a 5* out of a Tuesday pack, think about it real hard. If you still want it, buy the 6500-dil pack instead because the guaranteed legendary drop improves your chances from almost nothing up to 33%.

You really need to want it and be willing to spend a king’s ransom in dil to get it...this reason is why a not-insignificant number of people have sworn off Tuesday packs in favor of special offers and event packs. Event packs, including re-runs offered on Fridays and the special packs offered during mega events, have a vastly superior rate of return on 5* crew.

Your right. I did not have enough Dil to do a 6500 Dil pack. I stick to event packs and offers like I use to.

Tuesday packs are an awful gamble. People do it but I never will no matter who the crew is.

I thought the chances of getting a specific featured legendary out of a Tuesday pack are the same as in any event pack containing 3 legendaries?! So it should be 3.33 %. The overall amount of legendaries should also be the same as in any event pack, like 10%. I do not know how the regular 1.27% are to be considered though (in addition or do they get lost?).

Having gone down the Tuesday pack rabbit hole more times than I would like to admit, I feel pretty safe in saying that the drop rates are comparable to regular premium packs rather than event packs. Even if I am wrong, 3.33% is still a terrible drop chance for any particular crew when compared to 10% for event packs or 33% for 6500-dil packs.
