We had at least four houses on our block with major decorations that my kids were looking forward to visiting for the past three weeks who were not in and just had darkened yards. Strange that they went to such trouble to decorate, but they darkened the yards when trick or treaters would come by. Not that many people came through my neighborhood; we still have more than half our candy and my eldest daughter was passing it out in abundance to all the kids who came by. My daughters' favorite was the neighbor who works at Frito-Lay who was giving out small bags of chips.
