Fortune Cookies

My daughters just asked me what my fortune was. I couldn't tell them.

    I’ve had issues with fortune cookies. What you have there is not a “fortune”. Very rarely are they. They usually are some kind of advice or lesson. They should be called advice cookies

    My ex once told me that, in order for the fortune to make sense, you need to append the phrase “in bed” to the end of it. 😉

    In a similar idea, I was told about 27 years ago as a young teen that adding "in the bathroom" to the end of song and hymn titles made them more interesting. This is, of course, true. (And quite rightly I've had more than one occasion to need Amazing Grace in the Barhroom...) 😉
