Unable to download app since forced update

The game forced a logout and update today. It has been at "download pending" for hours. I've tried cancelling and restarting the device. Android Pixel 2

It is possible you have something else in the download queue. It may not even be an app. I'm not sure where you would look to find it, but that would be the most likely issue.

Thanks, don't know what was blocking it but it's back in again. Sorry this isn't much help to others who might have the issue.

Might be a cell data setting. Did it download after you got on WiFi versus Cell data?

@Paladin 27 not sure, I had tried on both data and a couple different WiFis.
