Stuck on Star Trek Timelines loading screen

I'm trying to access the game on my iPhone X and am stuck on the Star Trek Timelines loading screen with the green anomaly. I have tried closing the app and reopening it, but it gets stuck at the same place every time when the loading bar is about 25% complete.

    Never mind, after the 3rd or 4th reset and waiting about 5 minutes, I was able to access the app.
