Recently Added Portal Crew Does Not Appear In Voyages

Any recently added portal crew will not appear in any voyage so far, which is either very bad luck or someone forget to write a subroutine for the voyage inclusion. Or has anyone else gotten a Talos IV Spock in a voyage so far, or any of the new purples such as Admiral Picard, Icheb, Princess Jadzia etc.? The 2* crew works because they were instantly added to the pool (such as Gaia Odo, Kathryn Janeway and Festive Jadzia).

I've gotten both Talos Spock and the new Janeway. Haven't seen any of the 4 stars though

Okay, maybe because he's a 3* ... but I'm mainly and mostly interested in the new 4*'s ever dropping in any voyage (dilemma or midvoyage).

Don't know if these guys are new enough for you, but I got Tash, Commander Tomalok, and Berlinghoff Rasmussen all in one voyage yesterday. They were all mid voyage between the 6:00 and 7:00 hour.

Has anyone - since the new crew (except Talos IV Spock who is not a super-rare crew member) was added to the Time Portal - ever ... ever gotten a new super-rare crew member out of a Voyage?

If you aren't sure who exactly is part of the new crew, there was an announcement recently about who was all added to the Time Portal with the patch.

So far, as it looks like (from what I saw in all the screenshots, including fleet internal ones and my own), there still is no new super-rare crew in Voyages except for the voyage-reserved ones Fierce Guinan and Colonel Worf.

By the way, I have never seen a single "Spice" of any quality in a voyage, even though it's a component. If voyages drop components, why not spices?

I've still yet to see any of these 4* crew and since the time of the portal update I've had to have had at least 20 different 4* crew drop.

I have always concluded that what is in the premium packs is all you will get.
I have gotten Sheriff Worf and Duchamps. I believe these were part of the last inclusion in the premium packs.

Keep in mind Colonel Worf and Fierce Guinan are special to voyages. So they are not in the premium pack but only available thru their respective dilemmas part 3. These are two different dilemmas and not the same one.

I seem to get crew that I have FF more often. Also I have not gotten the amount of crew I first got when voyages started. Which both together will make it harder to get the crew you need. But it will happen, just try other choices that yield superrare crew in dilemmas.

The voyage I got Sheriff Worf in he was the only Superrare I got. Happened last week.
Looking in the past I remember getting two crew I needed out of 14 superrare attained in one 16 hour voyage. Very close to when voyages first started.

When I got Sheriff Worf it had been a while since my superrares were usable. (I guess honor is usable but 200)

Well, to date (unless I missed a recent post), nobody has provided absolute validation of receiving any 4* crew in the following list (who were added to the loot table in October) in a drop from their Voyage. That is, nobody has provided evidence other than merely stating it happened. (It's not a matter of trusting someone else's word, you understand, it's just that when only a couple of people have said "Yeah, I got one of those crew" without proof, it doesn't appear very plausible.)

On the subject of anecdotal evidence, a member of my crew also just reported getting Sheriff Worf in his last Voyage. He did not think to take a screenshot, however, since he wasn't aware of the issue with none of those recently-added crew showing up for anyone. But with several people reporting this so far, and the fact that he's the only one that's been mentioned as having been seen, perhaps it's time we ask DB to take a look and see if all those recent crew added to the loot table are also in the loot table for Voyages?

I think I actually have the answer for this..
It came to me this morning when I was.. well.. urinating.

In response to the community questioning if the Voyages had been nerfed the answer continues to be... (Wait for it...)

We (the community, for the most part.. not saying everyone) assumed that when the portal update took place, that the Voyages would be affected in the same way.. but.. (here it is..)

"If/when we make changes to Voyages loot tables or drop rates, we'll let the community know ahead of time" - @Black Pebble (numerous occasions)

So it may indeed be running on an entirely unique/ independent potential prize table, not drawing from the standard premium portal list of super rares but a specific list unique to Voyages.

Sadly (for us) this would make a lot of sense given how generous the Voyages are (or were)
That they would create a Delta (third line) list.
(Alpha being every character ever, beta being all characters up to the last time it was updated and Delta being perhaps the update before that)

I could see a scenario, where the Voyages character list won't be updated until the -Next- premium portal update.. leaving the Voyages pool lab update or two behind.
(I hope not.. but it makes a lot of sense)

We've got a few threads about this, sorry Eris didn't realise you had one too. I can confirm that I haven't received any new additions through voyages, though I've had several from portal drops despite receiving far less 4* crew from them. I've posted my list of drops twice elsewhere so I won't repost here unless you think it's necessary, and I've got screencaps for all because I do it as a matter of course in case of issues.

Suffice to say, there should be a drop rate of approximately 20/80 new additions to old super rares. Since I don't know how many 4*s are pack only, that might push the rate even higher.
