Inventory replicator suggestion

Currently inventory has a discard button and replicator buttons which take you to another screen where there is no easy way to find the item you were just looking at. Why do we need a discard button. why would anyone use it if they can use items to create replicator rations. i would suggest replacing discard with add to replicator and the then enabling replicator buttons when you have enough items to create a replicator button. you could then select button to show replicator confirmation with selected items. This solves issue with finding items because you could add specific as you find them since you can see item descriptions before adding them. in the current replicator if you have one of an item it is added automatically with no way to get item description. so not only is it hard to find item it is hard to verify you selected the desired item since there are so many similar items.
