Getting an ad for an alcohol ordering app. Not that I care, but assume it's inappropriate for a game like this.

    Reading this makes me wonder, does the ad program have access to info about the viewer?

    I ask because in theory if the ad service knows the viewer is an adult there should be no issue. It's possible some ads are targeted at specific sub-groups of players. I know my ads change completely when I travel. But do ads vary from people to people within any specific market? Anybody knows?

    This reminds me, I use to get a lot of ads for Star Trek Timelines on Star Trek Timelines. Ads probably don't cost much but that wasn't money well spent for them for sure.

    Given what google knows about me, it's really shocking that this 3rd rate advertising company is paying more per impression for a less specific ad.

    The ads seem to change depending on the time of day more than anything. I tend to get the slot machine games and this Drizzly app at night. Funny thing is I live in the State of Utah and both of those are blocked by state laws. Gambling is a no go here even in app form and delivery of alcohol wouldn't be allowed either. If you want liquor you have to purchase it from a State-owned store but you can get watered down beer from the grocery store. I also want to add that I don't gamble or drink alcohol so neither of these ads pertains to me so they are easily skipped for the free adwarp for 3 and 4* components.

    Judging by the almost prebuscent Disney style and Love Nikki ads I get Google definitely thinks I'm younger than I am. I get that Facebook does because I lied to it about my age, but I can't remember what I told Google so I might go and check. Mind you, I am extremely grateful to have ads for things I'm never going to get and DB really doesn't want my erratic mind to get distracted from timelines so I'd better leave things as they are.

    They get at least geographical data about you (I guess per IP adress) because I often get ads in German or French. I use a specific mail adress only for this game and my ads are for war games, simulation games, casino games and stock broker or bitcoin trading apps.

    I pay so little attention to them I don't even know what any of the ads I got today were for.
