A petition to improve inventory sort/search

I know many players, me included, are eagerly waiting for this to happen. Please make the inventory easier to sort through and search items.
An option I would welcome most is a search bar.
Also, when replicating, being to see the name of the item you're about to turn to fuel!

    This goes for the replicator especially. You can't know specifically what the item is that you use for the replicator because it is not identified, unlike when you are looking at your inventory.
