With the upheaval of the Temporal Anomalies, the Gatherers of Acamar III decide to make their ultimate break from Acamarian society. I propose this as a Hybrid Faction/Galaxy Event involving the Dominion, Romulans, and Federation.
After trying to make a living under the strictures placed upon them by Sovereign Marouk (3*),
the Gatherer leader, Chorgan (3*),
has decided to use the anomalies to break with Marouk and the Acamarians, and broker an alliance with the Dominion.
Marouk requests the Federation's aid once again when she's discovered that her once-loyal servant, Yuta (3-4*),
has also decided to resume her vendetta against Chorgan.
Captain William Riker (4*)
(or)
who once had a personal connection to Yuta, has taken up the charge to find her.
The Romulans, who also claim space in Beta Quadrant, have other plans. They've been hiding and aiding Yuta, hoping that Chorgan's death will derail the Dominion pact, and keep them, and their influence, on Xindus.
