Would you be more interested in "passing the torch" if Defensive Phlox was offered?

We just completed a 4 week mega event for a 4/5 Cmd/Sec Klingon....
and now we have another event with a 1/5 cmd/sec Klingon as the "top prize"

So... just wondering.. (and giving DB some feedback) do you think you would be more interested in Burning every reserve of Chrons to get top 1000 if perhaps the new Defensive Phlox was offered in this event instead of "Bugzapperface-Fonziethumbs" Rejac?

Yes. If this event crew were Phlox, Archer, and Soval, I would have bought the $100 offer this week. As it stands, this is the first week I have not bought the $100 barring reruns in... ever, I think. I spent my money on the good crew that was offered elsewhere, not on this steaming pile of event crew.

Doubtful, Defensive Phlox only needs to be 1/5 FE to be full power in the gauntlet. A $100 or $50 offer to get him for sure is far less than I have seen many people spending in dilithum to get him to drop.

Putting Defensive Phlox in the ranked rewards would turn the top 1000 into a bloodbath, which could be fun to watch. You thought people were grumpy about the points needed for Tilly? Pfft.

I have to work this weekend, and if he were the ranked reward, I'd find every way possible to still play.

Anything but a sec/com Klingon would make me interested and buy a pack or two of event crew. Any med event crew and I would buy the 5star crew pack.

It's like DB is trying to make us not spend money this event.

Yes. I would be playing and would be buying packs. As it stands, I’m just going to run shuttles and voyages and stock up on items and chronitons. Should be a relaxing weekend.

If Defensive Phlox were involved, especially after I know what it took to obtain "no-one-wants-a-5-star-cadet" Tilly, I would have to assume that other people were going to outrank me, so I would probably actually be less interested in playing past the top threshold reward. As it is, I'm hoping the disinterest makes it fairly easy to fuse both 4* crew.

yes, likely the competition this event will be 2000 or better rank.

I've been stockpiling for Galaxy events for awhile now. I would really like to compete and get some of the bigger event placement achievements but DB keeps giving weak characters.

I will not fight for a vanilla CMD/SEC Klingon. I thought about getting Tilly but she's an unremarkable ENG/SCI and I already have some of those. And that's a character I actually like. Rejac is just a little too throwaway. L'Rell, Voq and Kol are much more interesting characters.

I have a feeling I'll be waiting for a Galaxy Repeat where I can top up an existing 5* I have.

PS T'Kuvma is still missing his DIP stat. Please fix this.

Passing the buck. The bucks that DB won't get for having such a rubbish legendary in a galaxy event.

Pass the welding torch and give O'Brien the Legendary slot would be more fun

T'Kuvma's idea of being Diplomatic was talking for a minute to falsely appease a Starfleet Admiral, then crush his ship! How does this equate to a DIP skill? LOL

(yes you will rant about him getting the 24 Klingon houses together, but he did not succeed in that, so still a DIP fail)

Pretty sure he tried to lead the Klingons through appeals to emotion and spirituality rather than having any special strategic, tactical or organizational skills.
