The real problem with delayed event info.

This event is a perfect example of why we need event information at least one week in advance if not more. None of the crew this week have particularly desirable skill sets nor are they any of my favorite characters. So I’m considering skipping this event altogether, but I would like to use up my stash of chrons and just go through the threshold rewards as quickly as I can and since I’ll be able to fully fuse O’Brien by doing that. However, next weeks event could be another galaxy with crew that I actually care about. If that is the case then I would much rather save the chrons I have for the next event. So I really need next weeks event information in order to make the correct decision. Please DB, delaying this information is the wrong decision, we need that information. Please supply us with it again.

Like Skizzy said, this was an economic decision. DB doesn't WANT you to know. DB wants you to be unprepared for the next week and spend in this one, hence the two day delay. Their bet is nobody has any will power to wait, and since this is an addiction based "micro"transaction based game, they'll make more money with impulse buys and keeping information from you that might let you realize that spending next week is better resource management.
I think they're just saying that they might like the new crew better and would rather save the chrons they'd spend this week if that's the case. Not that the stats would necessarily be better or that any crew would need to be unvaulted.
Um... so let me make sure I understand.
1. You have chrons stockpiled (so you're not getting more from recharge anyway).
2. You don't care about rank.
3. You want to see the next event info before you decide if you should use chrons to clear threshold.
So wait until tomorrow, read the notes, and then decide if you should clear threshold?
There is literally no disadvantage to waiting for tomorrow when the notes will be posted.
So much this. They have gotten so super good about posting the Event Notes for following week on Friday now, and someone still is not happy!!!!!!

This "real problem with delayed event info" can be solved by thinking about it for more than ten seconds. It's almost embarrassing.
