Not sure if I'm bugged or this is a design flaw

I have realized that if I sort the Cryostasis Vault by an attribute, let's say Diplomacy for example, it's not actually in exact order of the skill. For some reason some, but not all, of the Frozen characters are sorted to the bottom, rather than by their modified stat as it would be if they were active. This is very annoying because if I wish to unfreeze someone for a particular skill, I can't actually sort by who has the highest stat.

That's true, only the unfrozen crew is sorted by skill, which I can already do in the crew quarters, so it's quite useless. The rest (unowned & frozen) is sorted backwards alphabetically, for whatever reason.
