My Review of Offer Wall Products
in Ready Room
Hello all. As you've no doubt seen, the offer wall has become quite a bit of a uh... dumpster fire? hot topic? pitchforks-r-us emporium sale? topic recently.
There is nothing I love more than a good bandwagon jumping. However, this is not that post.
When the wall was announced, I went what would best be described as "temporarily insane" on my VIP0 account and bought a lot of stuff. You know, embracing the true spirit of VIP0. I'm here to share with you my impressions.
Bubbly Belle Bath Bomb - 392 dil (pending)
I'm starting with this one because, despite arriving at my house and my credit card being charged, it still shows as pending for the dil delivery. That's a little annoying. However, the bath bombs do smell lovely, and they're a nice size. I also got a free fake engagement ring (valued at $20) that I'm going to wear around the house when I have workmen over. It's probably as good a safety measure as my gun.
Various Surveys - ~350 dil
Hey, speaking of my gun, most of the surveys offered wanted more information from me to take them than the gun store did. A few even asked for my SSN. That's no bueno, folks. I was able to find three out of approximately 75 survey attempts that did not ask me to bend over, spread, and cough, so I did do those.
BarkBox - 1078 dil
My cat was moderately impressed with his Super Chewer BarkBox, but we did not get the free bandana. Needs fewer dog treats to be cat-friendly.
Probuiln Probiotics - 882 dil
These were packaged super well and seem to be legit. I'm honestly surprised.
30 Day Keto Vitamins - 736 dil
I've been trying to not be a rotund behind recently and lose the quarantine chub, so I've been doing a sort of keto diet. Again, I was surprised that these vitamins looked like they may be useful for the mineral loss. Cool.
Home Chef - 980 dil (pending)
I pushed the delivery date out a week, which may be why it's still pending. I used to do Hello Fresh and Plated and I generally really like these cooking boxes, so I'm excited to give this a try. Menus looked pretty good and diverse and were customizable, which was nice for my madman kinda keto diet.
Tactical Flashlight - 355 (pending)
This one hasn't shipped yet, which may be why it's still pending. It seemed like this maaaaaaaaay have been subscription based at first, but I talked to their support and they confirmed that it wasn't. Hey, can never have too many flashlights in FL.
Winc Wine Club - 1960 dil
I subscribe to a couple wine clubs already as I very much like my adult juice. The winc wines didn't seem to be as good of a value as some of my other clubs, and I didn't really like their choices for me so I customized. This is a thing on my list to be cancelled once I satisfy the offer terms. I think I have to do two months.
Disney+ - 735 dil
I've been thinking of signing up for Disney+ for a while, so this was an offer I was more than willing to do. No issues at all here, and I got dil for it.
Amora Coffee - 343 dil
Coffee is good and priced fairly. You can push out the delivery dates too on the subscription if you're not guzzling coffee like a fiend (which, well, I am). No issues here either.
All in all, I've been pretty happy with the charities and physical products from the offer wall. They all seem to be pretty good quality and, at the very least, reputable, despite what can be said about the surveys. Just my 2 cents. OK, well, several hundred dollars
Can't wait for them to add more!

Annoying and monotonous. A series of questions to earn a "free" spin on the wheel for some prize. The questions were very boring and not imaginative, asking such snoozers like what is my social security number, the last 3 addresses I lived at, and the VIN on my car. Still, I managed to get enough to get another Janeway from the Tuesday packs.
I can be pretty gullible, but I am trying to get more info, so I’ll just ask: are those serious things the questions asked? (VIN?)
That's why I stuck to buying my cat a BarkBox.

Compared to the time it takes to earn 100 dil from a rank 1k event win, those offers seem pretty decent.
I have had no luck with surveys (they never get counted for me), so I want to try those game offers instead. Here my experience so far with the first one:
A fleetmate completed one (complete level 33 in "POP! Slots", for 2940 Dilithium) and she said it took her 3 days (playing several hours per day), so I also went for it.
It's a casino game where you basically sit at a slot machine of your choice and spin the wheel and win or lose. You get XP for that, but you need to bet casino chips for every spin(higher bet, higher xp).
I chose the MGM Casino, the machine in the upper left corner. At first, you need to be careful not to bet too high - if you run out of chips, you have to wait until you get more free casino chips (you can collect a medium amount of free chips every 2 RL hours, and a pretty high amount once per day).
You can spin the slot machine automatically until you run out of chips, so it's a pretty low maintenance game - however you occasionally need to collect some balloons/bubbles on the side of the screen, which award XP/chips/gems and need to be collected manually, which is basically the whole challenge here. Just make sure you bet very low when your chips are getting low, and bet high when you've got a lot of chips to burn through.
Once you reach level 12, the bubbles can start dropping gems (before level 12, thats locked), these gems can be redeemed for loot bags in a current event (ends in 20 days) which contain parts of new avatar outfits (think "ship blueprints"). These are key to getting the game done - once you collect enough "blueprints" to complete one of the dresses, you get insane amounts of chips. I'm not there yet, but I'll edit this once I confirm the game can be completed with these in a reasonable amount of time. EDIT: It worked like a charm, once I completed one of the dresses, I was able to level up really fast using highest bets...dil was delivered!
Please share more!

Man— I did surveys for years, but anything more than date of birth and ZIP code was beyond what I was comfortable answering.
Last three addresses? Car loan balance? SSN? I am afraid to think people would not know to steer clear of that. That’s Keys to the Kingdom level of intrusion.
I am sure that info is out there to connect if someone is trying really hard to find it, but no reason to make it easy for them.
And I chose to or not to answer those survey questions. If we are being data mined without our knowledge— and the above is the info they are looking for...
This one looks limilar to the other casino game i tested (same company), but I haven't found a "shortcut" here, and the level you have to reach is much higher. You can get a large amout of free casino chips every 8 hours, watch a couple ads for a minor amout of chips every 8 hours, and another minor amout every hour. There are also daily missions like in Timelines which award a major amount of chips, and my strategy so far is to let the slot machines spinning on automatic for several hours to complete these daily missions when I'm sure I've collected enough free chips to go through with it, and stop for the day once i completed the missions.
I really don't know if I'll be able to complete level 110 in time, and it's a major time sink (even if the game itself is very low maintenance (no balloon hunting here), you have to let the game run for hours almost every day, and make sure to collect free chips as often as possible). Not sure if it's worth the effort.
Get 3 SSR cards in Bleach. You can get 2 free ones for logging in for 7 days, and I had no trouble getting a third from their version of free portal pulls. Spent less than an hour in the game.
Get a lvl 8 castle in Evony. Did this in less than an hour too. Just do all the recommended quests, and you should get enough free resources, gems, and time reducers to instant complete all required builds.
Complete the 3rd village in Coin Master. Build what you can afford to do. Then don't bother to log in again until your spins are recharged to 40+. Use all your spins, and repeat. Leave you coin balance as low as possible, as others will raid you.
I did couple casino ones ... Was one reach level 10 another reach level 33. Together was something around 4-5k dilithium. Completed both in about 3 days... Uninstalled soon as completed...only issue is so far with these some really want you to bind your Facebook or email to them for extra `insert currency here` ...I won't do that no no no. There's also games on the wall that I installed and in order to play they want access to my devices pictures, files, etc ... Those are a hard nope and uninstall.
But the casino ones are okay.. kills some time when I'm bored ...I lose a lot of money cause I'm not lucky at all but when done I'm done with that game and uninstall. On Android anyway I do.. force kill then remove cache/files and then uninstall.
It took me about 3 weeks, but I made it - the dilithium was delivered instantly. You really need to stay focused on this one, because the time limit for the offer is 30 days after installing it.
I think it was worth it in the end: in the beginning, it seemed to be hard, but the main advantage is that you don't actually "play" the game, because it can run fully automatic. Your main involvement is setting timers or somehow reminding you to collect the free money regulary which you need to spin the machines (since you're setting timers for Timeslines anyway if you're a hardcore player, this wasn't too bad in my opinion). My favourite slot machine was the "Sweet and Spicy" machine, because it provides balanced wins and losses, BUT: only in the long term. So the usual tactic is to spin on automatic (after collecting a lot of free money first) using the lowest bet possible so you can play for several hours (set it to run on auto before you go to bed)...if you bet too high, it's possible that you run out of money before hitting your next jackpots that recover most or all of your inevitable previous losses. If you're amassing a lot of money you can start betting higher. I'm very sure I could complete this much faster now that I don't have to experiment any longer. You should also join a "club" (same as a fleet in Timelines) and try to jump to a "better"(higher league) club as often as you can. These clubs play in different leagues, and higher leagues means a higher bonus percentage for the free money you can collect, which is always good. Hope this helps some of you to get more Dilithium!
Well, color me jealous! I've done three of the offers now and not a single one has gone through correctly.
And the Iron Source tech support is superbly worthless. Telling me I need to send in proof, then telling me screenshots aren't proof after sending them one and then rejecting the ticket while requesting a screenshot as proof.
I'd love to know your secret, @Mauzi, for getting these offers to go through instantly upon completion.
And @Shan, TP should care about this issue, as well. This company may be scamming me out of some dilithium, but they are scamming you guys out of real world money. I assume you get paid when we complete one of these offers? My guess is you guys aren't getting paid either.
I'm going through this right now, and their emails seem to be automated, so even after sending an email, the automated reply is sent requesting you to send a screenshot even though you've already done it. I'm not convinced there's anyone reviewing them.
I sent support a message through Timelines to let them know what's happening, but not holding my breath. 2 weeks I spent wasting all free time I had to finish this offer without the promised reward. Makes you feel ripped off.
