Today is the three year anniversary of the day where the misfortune of Smudge stopped the petty bickering on these forums and united everyone with the common desire to obtain justice for him. Such a hero deserves to once more be recognized and celebrated for that monumental feat. I hear that even the government of the United States has given most people the day off of work this year to commemorate this historic event. I did a search for “Smudge” in my fleet recruiting interface, and sadly everyone who comes up on that list at the very least did not participate in this last event. I imagine Smudge only exists in our hearts these days...

I'll never forget my very first Smudge Day. I did what many of us did that day: I asked what this Smudge thing was all about.
