Add ships to collections?

What if ships were added to collections? For example, the Vulcan/Cardassian/Romulan/Ferengi/Borg ships could be added to their respective collections.

This would create some extra incentive to maximize ships - to be honest, I'm not putting a lot of effort into collecting schematics these days.

This is a nice idea. At least the tier 3 ships would have some use this way.

And I think it would contribute to making ships feel more like an integrated part of the game.

Come to think of it, ships could be added to the new Mirror collection too.
