Skirmish events - easy elite or tough epic?

What do you think is more efficient for skirmish events? I can win both of these.
1. Tough battles on epic that require me to choose to repair ship after each battle.
2. Easy battles on elite that let me choose the bonus prize after each battle.

    Given the choices, go with the bonuses. That is the point of a skirmish.

    But hurry up and get a ship/crew that works at Epic. The rewards and VP at that level are where you want/need to be.

    fully agreed, a 10/10 borg cube with a couple of 400% damage gold crew and two event crew "should" get you to clean up Epic AND choose the bonuses.
