It is not a good deal. But not all LTOs are good. And I half-appreciate these bad deals as it gives me a break from having to dump money into this money pit.

I beg to differ, this LTO is one of my favorites. I look at it like this, for $25 I am getting:

- A 5* citation, which is always great to have.
- 750 dilithium; not super exciting, but useful when paired with the bonus dilithium I get from the purchase.
- 5 future Faction/Skirmishes where I will not have to buy any event packs to add the 4th star to the event's new SR crew, allowing me to freeze them.

I do not look at the five 4* citations as irrelevant, I look at them as getting 5 crew slots back, and that to me has tremendous value.

After they just had a $4.99 Offer that included a Legendary Citation? Not really a good deal if you are just interested in the Legendary Citation.

However, as Brother Bylo said, it will let you FF the new 4* from the next five Faction and/or Skirmish Events....

I do not value the 4* citation.

But, I am willing to freeze any immortalized crew to make room for event crew, so slots not an issue.

So this offers value is a legendary citation and 750 dil.

My point where I would buy, make it 1500 dil. and then I am on the edge of buying it. A 2nd legendary citation buy itself would put me more likely to buy. But, if it were two 5* cites. and 1000 dil. I would be hooked.

I used one of these deals to immortalize the voyage-exclusive SR's. I used another to cover some faction and skirmish SR's that I only got at 3/4 (and used campaigns for the rest). I think it's a good deal once or twice a year. If you buy Elusive Treasure packs and end up with a bunch of 1/4's, then this deal can help you get those slots back with a gold cite on the side. If you're not in one of those situations, then it's probably an easy pass.

Bottom line: This deal is good for a small crowd, but it's certainly not for everyone.

Not all deals are for everyone. Yes we all would like to have the best deals everytime a deal is offered, but that would be impossible. So if a certain deal is not to your liking, pass on by.

This one doesn’t move the needle for me, and that’s okay. I don’t mind pulling packs to get the new 4* crew from Faction and Skirmish events, because I sometimes get a beautiful surprise (ask my Carlos Data or Twilight T’Pol about this ), so I have stopped going for deals with 4* citations. But I still recall a time when I would take any such deal, just to clear out some crew slots (that’s certainly how I finished all of the voyage exclusive crew), and can’t begrudge anyone for doing the same now.

Sitting in inventory, 17 5* citations, 4 4* citations and 1.3 million honor and I am tempted, but think I will pass. I am still holding out hope for some "Christmas Cheer" offers that might be just a bit better

I found that I enjoy the game more again since I started skipping everything that is worse than the campaigns or monthly card, so actually everything apart from these 14 $ since 2 months when I made the decision.

All the back and forth consideration of "worthiness of LTOs" had become exhausting to me and killed the fun, let alone the disheartening portal pulls that often resulted from purchases.
