There is no actors likeness for Arex or M'ress and most of the rest that aren't modeled after real actors (like Shatner)... just the rights to the show and character.

That's not Lara, that's Dr Zora from "The Savage Curtain" They look similar, but are not the same entity.

I disagree. Much as I love the Kzinti I thought the depiction of them in TAS was horrible. This is a race that is supposed to be physically overpowering but in the episode they look sickly. The art should have been based on tigers rather than housecats.

I'm assuming its the Niven characters, as well as any that the artists themselves held the rights too, though Filmation really did everything they could to make sure the artists did NOT retain rights to their work.
