Rotation bug with Samsung Galaxy 5se

As soon as I installed Star Trek Timelines my autorotation feature no longer works. After exiting the game the rotation is locked to landscape and will not change unless I use a third party app to force it. Once it's back to portrait mode and the game is restarted, the tablet is forced back to landscape mode and all apps appear that way. Turning autorotation off and on has no effect. Is this a known bug?
