Cryostasis. Seriously, update this! This is ridiculous.

Not kidding, I can't even figure out whether it's in any sort of order. Looking for someone in there is an ordeal. Just make it look like the crew screen. Wouldn't take much effort, right? I'm happy with that. Same features.

We need to at least filter everyone out so only frozen crew remain. There are many other useful filters and sorts that can be done (just like the crew screen), but at the bare minimum that is needed.
The sort code has got to be fairly easy to modify from the crew list to the cryo list. The same thing goes for searching the equipment list that can be over 500 items. But as stated before, DB really doesn't care. If they did, the artwork wouldn't be turning out so crappy, simple confirmation of purchases in the Faction stores and features the community has been asking for since day 1 would be implemented, and equipment icons wouldn't be duplicated so many times. As if there weren't enough icons that looked like Encoded Communique's and Translation Algorithm's, I have come across Transparent Aluminum (Professor Scott) and Anastasia's KGB Communique (Anastasia) - 10 items that have the same f-n icon - now that's just ignorant and plain lazy. Try finding those in the 500 items in the equipment list.
I would love for it to be made better, but I’m not holding out hope for them to kill one of their biggest money makers.
They have no choice but to include some search features. They keep adding crew. If they stopped adding crew they might be able to get away without it. But we all know crew is the actual money maker. Slots just make people quit playing.
But didn't they say in the Q&A that something was coming?
You are correct
Example: That means I can find all the versions of Kirk-Spock-McCoy-Scotty-Sulu-Uhura-Chekov in a row, followed by all associated crew (Nurse and Doc Chapel) and one episode crew (Lots)
But where do I search for Worf... TNG or DS9... where does Soran come in for the movies... generations and all? Better just stick the search function like for active crew and be done with it.
How about they fix BOTH..?!?
And I'd prefer cryo first so it doesn't take so damn long to prep for events with hunt and scroll with wiki picture help.
...I really want to meet the guy who programmed this garbage...probably a braindead monkey...no one in their right mind could program such a thing and think this is good work.
It just goes to show that nobody at DB actually plays this game. Because several of these issues would get fixed. The first time one of these people* goes into the vault and has 200+ cards immortalized in there and tries to find somebody, they would say "why didn't we add a search feature?"
And then they would drive home in their Porsches and eat lobster for dinner, because they got hundreds of people to pay $30 more this week to add 5 more crew slots instead of vaulting this round of new characters they got for free in an event.
They know what they are doing.
Didn't they say they would fix that in a future update?
I have four versions of Picard, but nothing comes up when I search for his name.
So which is true... Your line that no one plays or DB's line from their careers page...
"Applicants should first learn about Disruptor Beam and play GAME OF THRONES ASCENT and STAR TREK TIMELINES because we're looking for people who, like us, take play seriously and for whom it's never "just a game." We play lots of games, especially our own, because hands-on gaming experience is our ultimate guiding compass."

All you need to know about Disruptor Beam
Probably what RNGeverything said.
Well, when it comes to hiring employees that are good, and will work well with the company. There is want versus need. Most of the time you will put information you "want" into the job description and details that you need. And then you will get applicants that don't have any of the wants, and plenty of the needs. This is the part where most people who are unemployed don't understand. Just because the job description has something in it that you don't have, doesn't mean you can't get the job anyways.
Being pretty close to Boston MA, I would think they could get more of the wants than the needs, but that still is not always the case.
The question for me is: Who the hell would want to work for a company that does that bad of a job? Certainly not the best and the brightest, they go to companies that provide good products, good pay, and good prestige. DB can pick out of the incompetent that remain.
