Voyage wormhole?

I’ve had this happen a couple times before but never documented proof. I had my best voyage to date (not as impressive as RoyKirk but still good). However the Voyage returned 66 minutes sooner than expected. Not complaining just interesting.




The photo was taken at 12:53 with a return time of 4 hours, 36 minutes and a few seconds. I planned for the return at 5:30 and set a timer.

I got the Voyage return push notification before my timer went off.



It returned at 4:24 when I had expected 5:30 at time of recall.

I frequently have mine back before the time says. A lot of mine come back overnight, but any returning during the day usually have their displayed time of return announced and then a guess of when they actually are arriving. I then peek in periodically, announce the new time of return, and laugh.

Certainly. I tend to think of it as a wormhole or one of the various things Janeway used to reduce travel time back. Fun little surprise when it happens

Interesting, I do not think I have encountered this before. It is possible that I have and just haven't noticed, but I will look for it in the future. Well done with the screenshots for documentation.

Must also add further proof of time was done because of running that boost.

I just recalled a nearly 10 hr voyage. The timer says it should be back around 12:23. I'd think more like 11:30.

Edit: A current timer check puts return at 11:27

And it was back before 11:17. As I said, it happens somewhat regularly.

The voyage completed icon is up and there were 43 minutes until the offer ends at noon.
