How Many Chrons to Get Honey Bare?!

Anyone keep track or want to take a guess. I know I know, it all depends.

Last event I hit 1500-2000 bracket with around 3k. I’m guess there was a solid wall at around 1000-1200. Maybe 5k last event?

So now we have a 5 day black hole event!!! And what I’m guessing is a highly prized Honey Bare. 7k? 8k? 10k???

    Minimum 8,000 is my guess, unless you've been doing a lot of pre-farming.

    I truly dread to think what this weekend's event will cost for people wanting Honeybear, well done DB, profiteering at its very best, set up a 5 day long Galaxy Event, when most people have the time off, and stick a character everyone wants in the tops spot. That top 1000 spot will be very busy. Will personally be sticking to community and hitting the top of the Threshold Rewards (hopefully Deuchamps!).

    What is actually really funny, is that DB will most likely open up the good old 1250 chrons for 10$, and... At this rate, it will be heaps better to buy the 50$ 2nd offer for Honey Bare 1 copy + packs and whatnot, do the bare minimum of 130k VP and use everything else to immortalize and level up your crew.

    Not to mention that, with any luck, you can get more copies of Honey Bare than the people who went spending-crazy trying to get into the top 1000....

    Pretty much my thoughts as well, and avoids all the tedium that goes along with Galaxy-borefests! MADNESS that I am actually considering doing this, just so I don't have to play the game!!

    It is actually worth considering IF and ONLY IF she's worth the buck. If she's another filler 1/5 max 700 SCI with no good gauntlet stats, for example, it is time to pass. And if she happens to be a 2-Stat Jadzia, for example SCI/ENG it is time to pass big time.

    The piece of the calculus that should provide some variance is what the best bonus crew that you have in each skill is. Getting a higher percentage on the Super Rares can make a significant impact on how many chrons are needed. Having Duchamps, for instance, maxed out from his event should decrease the chrons needed somewhat.

    Personally I do expect the chron cost to be high, but I'm also going to be leaning on my bench to try to eek out every single Super Rare that I can.

    Let's face itanyone who gets 130k will get a 4/4 super rare. If Duchamps is reward crew, you get Kim, and if someone has it already, you only need to get: a) the missing stars on him, or b) ditch the event on 130k VP to get Kim. 130k VP guarantees you a 4/4 super rare either way.

    As I said in a previous post, 50$ on 1 Copy of Honey Bare plus the **tsk tsk** is better than dropping 5x10$ for 5x1250 chrons just to qualify for the top 1000.

    You will need at least 8,000 chronitons, and mentally prepare yourself for losing 400-600 spots in the last hour of the event as everyone will cash in their points at that time. Oh, and don't forget about your supply kits. You'll need several of those too. If you don't have them, I would increase the croutons needed by 3,000.

    I personally am not going to be able to stock up the necessary amount of croutons to get a Honey Bear. So it's kind of nice to know that I've already lost. That way I don't have to get too serious about this event over Thanksgiving........But Dax........

    50$ on 2nd Stage Honey Bare is > than spending money on the 5x1250 chrons. If you are hellbent on spending money, do it like that and save time.

    I am stockpiling on chronitons since friday, but I am also looking into the skills of Honey Bare. If she's another filler 5*, sorry, but no go from me. I will do my usual 130k, and peace out.

    I'll have about 14,000 chrons by the time the even starts, so hopefully that's enough. I don't mind the Galaxy grind,

    Indeed and to the dreamers who can prove the game otherwise... 50$ is what I predict for Jadzia. And it really counts on people stopping to spend so much...

    Like many others, I will spending $0 on the event (as per usual) and get in the top 1000 to get a 1/5.

    Oh for the days when 3000 chrons plus change would be a guaranteed place in the hundreds (when I wasn't even trying for the legendary, I just really really wanted to make sure I got Bareil, because look at the man, yum). Well, there'll be enough dilithium in the tank for three event packs - if those don't turn up lucky, I may end up pulling out my wallet on Saturday, for only the second time (Ilia).

    I have 6000 right now and 2500 in the mail. Probably will earn another 4000 from voyages/rewards/cadet missions. I plan on using every single one of them if necessary.

    Probably a good time to skip an event... Next galaxy might be easier if everybody goes hard for Jadzia or even cigar Worf.

    Well that changed as 3000 were once quite a lot (the income from about 9 days, which you can get in 3 days now). Even without threshold chrons you will gain about 3.600 chrons during the duration of this Event.
    Galaxies surely got harder for p2w as sou have to spend more, as DB made the event type a lot easier for f2p, especially regarding that the huge chron income is difficult to spend without buying crew.
    As i started spending Money, because of this fair approach between p2w ans f2p, i am quite happy with it.

    I was very lucky and pulled Honey Bare with a single Event Pack - so I paid 650 dilithium for her. Concerning the original question: I predict you need 10k chrons and supply kits for every day. Players really want cute & sexy Dax and DB knows that... and that seems to be the main reason she is the 5* in this 5-day-galaxy-massacre.
